Dear Parents:

Here is some important information that you, as parents, should be aware of:

• Absolutely NO STREET SHOES / BOOTS will be allowed on the

ice. Please bring clean indoor athletic shoes. Warm comfortable clothing

should be worn. Mitts / gloves are also a good idea.

• Curling equipment such as sliders, grippers and brooms are

provided. If you have your own equipment, lockers at the Trail

Curling Club may be rented for the curling season -$20.00

• On-ice volunteers stress SAFETY at all times. Parents will be

informed if any unsafe issues arise.

• Curling is over at 5:00pm. All the volunteers request that

you be at the Trail Curling Rink before 5:00pm to pick up your

Junior Curler(s). If you are unable, please call the Rink @

250-368-6222 to let us know.

• The “hot dog and pop / juice concession will once again be

available for 50 cents each. Upon arrival, the Junior Curlers

can get their snacks and go down to the Locker Room to eat

before going out on the ice at 3:30pm. Curlers may “charge”

their snacks, and be responsible for payment throughout their

curling season.

• The Trail Junior Curling Club Program can always use volunteers.
